• How to install SQL Server?

    Work Tracker Lite need SQL Server as Database Engine. For single use installation, on a single PC, WTL Setup automatically downloads and installs SQL Server. If you want to use SQL Server with other people, in a Work Group, SQL Server needs to be installed on a Server PC, connected in LAN with other PC. Usually Network Administrators installs SQL Server on the Server PC. You can download for free SQL Server Express Edition from http://www.microsoft.com/sql/editions/express/default.mspx. SQL Server MUST accept network connections (TCP/IP or Pipe) and Mixed Authentication. Read SQL Server Installation Manual for more info.

  • Is this a software for employee-spy ?

    Work Tracker Lite is NOT a employee-spy program and it cannot be this! This is a program to monitor the cost of the job. Users can register only few activities or all and can use manual insert to correct collected data.

  • Do I have to insert all mine activities?

    No. Anyone (Administrator) can choose which activities to track: from all to just one.

  • How to insert hourly cost?

    Anyone can insert it has he likes. It was thought to be the real cost for the company.

  • Why there are more than one hourly cost for employee?

    It is for historic tracking of the pay raise in years.

  • Why there are more projects for one job order?

    Some companies use to break job orders in more projects, some do not. If you don't break Job Orders in more Projects you can insert only one default project for every job order.

  • Why is there manual insert?

    It can be used to correct collected data or to insert job done off-line with out tracking.

  • I can't see the help: why?
